Experience & Leadership

18 Years Council Leadership

For nearly two decades, Bob Stubbe has served the Papillion community on the City Council and currently serves as Council President. He’s focused on keeping Papillion financially responsible while making sure the small-town character we all value remains at the heart of our growing city.

20+ Years Public Works Director

The Longest-Tenured Public Works Director in Omaha History

Since 2005, Bob has served as the Public Works Director for the City of Omaha—making him the longest-tenured director in the city’s history. Because this is an appointed position, Bob has been hand-selected and retained by every sitting Mayor over the last 20 years.

What This Means for Papillion

Bob doesn't just talk about "infrastructue" or "fiscal responsibility"—he has lived it every day for two decades. He knows how to fix the roads, manage the budget, and make sure city services work exactly like they’re supposed to. When you vote for Bob, you’re voting for a neighbor who has spent 30 years in Papillion and a professional who has earned the trust of every leader he’s worked with.
