Bob's Plan For Papillion

Priorities
Public Safety
Papillion consistently earns its reputation as one of the safest communities in the region. Supporting this standard is a top priority. Safe neighborhoods are essential to a thriving city.
I will continue to support our first responders—ensuring our police, fire, and emergency medical service providers have the training, resources, and staffing they need. By investing in public safety, Papillion will remain a place where families feel secure making it their home.
Fiscal Responsibility
Every tax dollar stands for trust placed in city leadership by our residents. Over the last 18 years serving on the Papillion City Council, I have consistently fought to keep a strong financial foundation.
Papillion proudly supports the lowest tax levy in both Sarpy and Douglas counties. I will continue the legacy of strict fiscal discipline, funding essential city services efficiently.
Infrastructure
Quality of life relies heavily on the infrastructure used every day—from well-maintained roads, reliable utilities, city owned buildings, and public parks.
As a Nebraska Licensed Professional Engineer with over 50 years work experience providing utility and basic services to the public, I bring unique, hands-on ability to city management. I understand what it takes to design, fund, support, and run high-quality infrastructure.

Preserving Papillion's Community Feel: Our Small Town Heart
As we embrace the future, Papillion must never lose the welcoming, hometown charm that makes it so special.
This is the community where my wife, Sharon, and I chose to raise our family. I will continue to support and invest in the traditions and community events that bring everyone together.
Progress will be managed carefully so Papillion stays the close-knit, family-oriented hometown we all love.

"As a longtime employee of the City of Papillion, I have known Bob as a forthright, intelligent, and innovative Councilmember, who has been there through some incredibly impactful projects that have improved the lives and experiences for all Papillion residents.
Personally, in the Parks Department, under Bob's leadership we have seen the addition of beautiful, new softball and baseball fields at Papillion Landing, updates to playgrounds around the city, and full support of all we did in establishing and growing the annual Winter Wonderland event each year."

Responsible Growth: Managing Our Future
Due to Papillion’s highly desirable destination for families and businesses, it brings the challenge of rapid expansion. I will focus on controlled, strategic development that never outpaces our infrastructure's capacity. By using established, professional relationships with builders and developers, I will help guide commercial and residential projects responsibly. This ensures that new development expands the economic base and adds genuine value to the city, rather than creating unmanageable sprawl.
